Maxima retail chain's turnover up by 10%

According to the manager of Maxima Latvia Gintaras Jasinskas, the bulk of the turnover’s increase was due to the expansion of the retail chain of Maxima stores. Besides, reconstruction and assortment expansion in 39 Maxima X shops positively influenced the situation. There currently 141 Maxima shops operate. 118 of them are Maxima X shops, 20 – Maxima XX shops and 3 – Maxima XXX shopa. In 2012 the general turnover of the Maxima Grupe in Baltic States, Poland and Bulgaria increased by 5.8% and reached 1.66 billion lats. Totally the Maxima group manages 500 stores in five countries, including 2006 stores in Lithuania, 70 – in Estonia, 42 in Bulgaria and 21 – in Poland, as well as internet-shops in Latvia and Lithuania.
